Round off purchase values to apply the surplus to the financial market, develop forest preservation bonds, offer microcredit to family farmers over the internet. These are some of the new projects to be presented throughout this week by the Laboratory of Technological Innovations (LIFT), coordinated by the Brazilian Central Bank (BC) and by the National Federation of Central Bank Servers Associations (Fenasbac).
The innovations are being presented on LIFT Day, which started last Tuesday (23) and runs through Friday (26). In order to publicize actions that can make life easier for savers and consumers and stimulate competition in the financial market, the event is being held online this year and can be followed live on the Central Bank’s YouTube channel (in Portuguese).

In addition to the initiatives of the financial industry, the results of LIFT Learning, a pilot project carried out in partnership with the University of Brasília (UnB), which brings together university students, development agencies and companies in the financial sector, are being presented.

Arredondar valores de compras para aplicar o excedente no mercado financeiro, desenvolver títulos de preservação de florestas, oferecer microcrédito a agricultores familiares pela internet. Esses são algumas novidades a serem apresentadas ao longo desta semana pelo Laboratório de Inovações Tecnológicas (LIFT), coordenado pelo Banco Central (BC) e pela Federação Nacional das Associações dos Servidores do Banco Central (Fenasbac).
As inovações estão sendo apresentadas no LIFT Day, que começou na última terça-feira (23) e vai até sexta-feira (26). Com o objetivo de divulgar ações que podem facilitar a vida de poupadores e de consumidores e estimular a competição no mercado financeiro, o evento está sendo realizado online neste ano e pode ser acompanhado ao vivo no canal do Banco Central no Youtube.

Além das iniciativas da indústria financeira, estão sendo apresentados os resultados do LIFT Learning, projeto piloto realizado em parceria com a Universidade de Brasília (UnB), que aproxima universitários, agências de fomento e empresas do setor financeiro.
